Harry P. Pappas - Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer


Harry P. Pappas has been directly involved in the RFID, RTLS and Wireless industries since 1998, with “hands-on” experience in a wide variety of RFID and wireless projects across several industries including: healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical instruments, manufacturing, warehousing, food, and transportation. Harry is an internationally recognized RFID industry spokesperson who has been presenting educational programs around the world since the year 2000 helping to educate end users about the many uses and benefits of RFID and RTLS technologies. In April of 2004, Pappas with support of industry collogues from the USA and Europe  founded the International RFID Business Association (RFIDba), an internationally recognized, not for profit, educational, vendor neutral, trade association serving the educational and business needs of end users from around the globe. He is the Founder, Pres. & CEO of the RFIDba. The RFIDba has affiliates in many countries and is very visible at many vertical industry trade shows and conferences in all regions of the world. The RFIDba, with the support and cooperation of subject matter experts in a number of vertical industries and academicians, produces University Level, Educational Master Classes annually, in all parts of the globe. On Sept. 10, 2008, Pappas with the support of many healthcare industry professionals, RFID, RTLS, and wireless technology industry leaders, along with the support of the FDA, FCC, NIST and the academic community in the USA, co-founded the “RFID in Healthcare Consortium” (RHCC). Mr. Pappas speaks at many healthcare and medical device conferences and trade shows around the world on the many benefits of RFID and RTLS technologies to improve hospital operating efficiencies, improve patient safety and provide real time visibility to patients, staff, and assets. The RHCC provides educational programs to the Healthcare industry as well as the Assisted Living and Nursing Home Industries.


Stephane Pique - Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer


Stephane Pique is the co-founder, COO and Vice-President EMEA of the RFIDba. Stephane started with RFID in 1993 and was working for several companies such as Philips Semiconductors, Kudelski, Sokymat, Global ID, Seeburger, GS1 and works since many years as an independent RFID consultant working for several Governments and multi-national companies. His business experience brought him to the position of knowing RFID from all necessary components such as the chip, the transponder and card, the middleware and data management up to the complete RFID solution and processes. Stephane was speaking at more than 100 major RFID shows around the world and is also member of the OSEC pool of experts mandated by the Swiss State Secretary of Economical Affairs (seco). He is also the initiator and project coordinator of several EU funded and EU supported RFID related projects.


Peter Stefanou - Chief Finance Officer


Peter has thirty  years of experience in serving the audit and accounting  needs of domestic and international  public and privately-held  enterprises. Peter has made presentations at a number of conferences addressing topics affecting enterprises seeking to access the public markets as well as challenges facing current  registrants. Peter received his MBA from George Washington University and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Georgetown University. Peter is licensed as a certified Public Accountant in   New York, Pennsylvania, California and Virginia and is a member of  the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and various state societies. Peter sits on a number of Boards and Committees, including the  Board of Directors Of Russell Bedford International, an international association of over 50 independent accounting and consulting firms in more than 50 countries. Peter is also a member of Form of Firm’s Transnational Audit Committee, an  international  accounting organization focusing on transnational audit issues.


Jim Del Rossi - VP for Strategic Alliances and Business Development


Jim Del Rossi, Founder and CTOs ADR Advisors Incorporated. New lines of business, new industries, and new combinations of both are arising every day.  ADR brings a wide range of expertise in business management, IT consulting, and line of business technology strategy to help navigate these complex intersections. Jim’s expertise is in global business development for new technologies, most recently RFID and Edge Technologies. He has deep and current experience advising Global 500 companies.  


Paul Fedoronko - VP for Corporate Development


Paul Fedoronko is a former executive for an international transportation company. For the last 15 years, he has been a partner in a direct-to-consumer specialty merchandise company which evolved into his own company selling multiple lines of home furnishings to better retailers & interior designers. Paul has been actively involved with the RFIDba since it was founded in 2004, he has served in various capacities relating to organization, education, corporate membership development  & conferences and trade shows. Paul has a special interest in the use of RFID in the custom furniture industry and also for use of this technology in the high end home decorating products industry.  Paul also has first hand knowledge of the use of RFID and RTLS technologies in the Transportation Industry for tracking assets in Real time.

Philippe de Matteis - Director Education Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)


Philippe is the founder and CEO of DMPH Consulting, a company devoted to the implementation of innovative technologies, RFID for Automatic Identification, and connecting things. He was previously RFID European Business Manager at OMRON Electronics and VP marketing and sales of Stella electronics. He has been involved in RFID and Contact-less business, solutions and technologies, since 1996.



Vincent Maholetti - Director Marketing Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)


As an entrepreneur in the Auto-ID industry and packed with a huge knowledgebase in this sector, Vincent Maholetti brings more than 25 years of experience in many innovative projects. Started in 1986 as an Engineer, Vincent developed Auto-ID Systems for Kimball (Litton Industries) but also started and established new markets, especially for data capturing technologies, and had have  contact to the RFID marked in that early stage already. Vincent is international oriented and worked for several companies like Esselte Meto (Checkpoint), Teklogix, EFKON AG, RFiT-Solutions and Rodata AG where he kept mostly sales management or director functions. Vincent was and still is responsible for many RFID projects and his RFID knowledge as well as his business process skills are on a very high level.

Abderrazak Hachani - Managing Director North Africa


Received a Bachelor in applied physics ‘electronic’ from the University of Bizerte, Tunisia 2002. He obtained his M.Sc. Degrees in Telecommunications and Instrumentation respectively from the National School of engineer of Tunis, Tunisia 2004 and the National Institute of applied Science and Technology, Tunisia 2004. He is currently preparing his PhD in Telecommunications (RFID Protocols). He stared his RFID consulting activities since 2004, where he participated in several international RFID projects as instructor, system designer, project manager and business developer. He is reviewer in Wireless Personal Communication Journal – Springer and IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference. Besides his RFID consulting activities, he is researcher in ESPRIT – Tunisia. His research interests are in RFID, RTLS, pervasive computing systems, connecting things, WSN, and Smart Home.


Daniel Omofoman - Managing Director West Africa


Omofoman Daniel (M.AES), an international consultant in security technology business development, Omofoman stated his RFID carrier in 2006 as the business development Director, Al Petra Group Dubai - UAE, where he gained training and experience in the Radio Frequency Identification Education, Components and system design integration and implementation processes. Mr. Omofoman is currently the managing director of Tagged Technologies Ltd, a security technology company committed to providing reliable and cost-effective RFID and Biometric solutions, consultancy service with turnkey project management and technical support. Mr. Omofoman has been privilege to deliver papers and life demonstration on RFID Systems in major security technology seminars, conferences, exhibition and workshop with Nigeria and the West African Region, Mr. Omofoman is a Philanthropist, Member of the Nigerian American Chambers of Commerce, Academy for Entrepreneur Studies, and former executive secretary of the Nigerians in Diaspora - Middle Eastern Region. He is blessed with a family.


Linda Castro - Managing Director Canada


Linda R. Castro is a research associate at ePoly Research Centre of Polytechnic School of Montreal, as well a member of the project management team at Genivar; a consulting engineering firm; leading, in consortium, the construction of a mega hospital in Montreal. Linda holds B.Eng. and M.Eng. in industrial engineering. Currently, she is finalizing her doctorate degree in industrial engineering with orientation in technology management. For the past few years, her work has been oriented towards the optimization of inter-intra enterprise business processes through the integration of emergent technologies such as RFID, particularly within the healthcare industry. Linda specializes in assessing how intelligent products could help hospitals to develop more efficient asset management activities and she had led a project with European and Canadian stakeholders in the field. Linda has written and co-authored RFID related scientific articles, as well as has been speaker on international conferences and invited lecturer in the area of technology management. Linda is an associate editor of the Journal of Technology Management & Innovation.


Ken Lee - Managing Director Malaysia


Ken Lee is the Chief Technology Officer of CBS Technology, a public listed software firm in Malaysia and having presence through partners in South East Asian countries, China and Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Lee specializes in RFID technologies and has worked with many clients in banking, manufacturing, logistics and government agencies. Various industry awards have been bestowed to CBS for the solutions it has developed. Mr. Lee has garnered 20 years of IT experience working with various companies including multi-national companies like, IBM Australia, IBM Malaysia, Softbank and CNL International Technologies.
